Breaking News: Express Entry Update

If you’re among our regular readers, you probably already read our article The Future of Express Entry which reveals that the Express Entry program is facing changes in the near future.
The first change starts today, June 26th.

Originally, anyone that applied through the Express Entry program, got selected in the draw and received an invitation to apply for the second stage had 90 days to complete the second stage application.

Not sure what I’m talking about? Read all about the Express Entry program in our article You Have a Date With Canada in 2 Weeks.

What Changed?

According to an update from the IRCC, starting today, if you apply and get an invitation to apply for the second stage, you will have 60 days to complete your second stage application.
This change applies ONLY to people who start their process as of June 26th 2018.  Anyone who applied before today and gets an invitation for the second stage will still have 90 days.

This is just one of the efforts made by the Canadian government to make the process faster and more efficient.

    Hi Anu!
The score you’ll need in IELTS is 6.5.
With an M.A and 2 years’ experience your odds are very high, and if accounting is something you do well (for example – I’m terrible with numbers…), you could even earn a very nice salary being self-employed in Canada.
But I’m getting ahead of myself. First you need to start the process.
If you sign up here, you should be getting a call from one of our experts within 24 hours, and they’ll guide you through.
    Good luck!
