Need a Job In Canada? The Canadian Government Announces New Temporary Foreign Workers Program!

Good News for workers that need a job in Canada. It seems like all your wishes have been granted. As of August 28th employers will be required to hire foreign workers who belong to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP). The potential job candidates must meet the requirements necessary to perform the job (of course) – but never before have Canadian employers been required to hire foreign workers. That is, until now!

In accordance with the new policy, if the Canadian Department of Labour finds that there are no Canadian Permanent Residents or Canadian Citizens “ready, willing, and able” to perform a certain job – an employer will be required to hire a foreign worker that applied through the TFWP job pool.

But how will I know what jobs to look for under the TFWP?

First of all, you should immediately inform your Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant that you wish to be entered into the TFWP pool, regardless if you believe you are qualified or not.

Secondly, in accordance with the TFWP policy, employers MUST advertise all open positions directly to the TFWP pool, as well as, two additional forms of recruitment.

What happens when I am matched to a job position?

temporary foreign workers program canada

⭐⭐⭐⭐High-Wage Scenario: Employers will be required to invite matching candidates to apply for the positions, within thirty days of the advertisement, if the foreign worker is rated four stars or above.

⭐⭐Low-Wage Scenario: Employers will be required to invite matching candidates to apply for the positions, within thirty days of the advertisement, if the foreign worker is rated two stars or above.

How long does this process take until I am in Canada?

If you are hired through the TFWP you fall under the Global Skills Act of June 12, 2017. That means your application for a Canadian Visa will be given PRIORITY. The Canadian Government will have your Canadian Visa ready in just two weeks. So pack your bags and get ready to move to Canada using the fastest visa program currently available!

Good morning Randy. But a frightening ringing trend looks real all times I read it. That there are no jobs in Canada, experts have to subject to low quality paying jobs. Moreso, that is very difficult to get job in Canada while you are outside Canada. Menace of Canadian experience is there too, tumbling efforts of immigrants. How do you address these facts? Are they not true?
2, For persons in oil and gas drilling industry, it seems jobs are scarce for them in Canada. What is the assurance of jobs placement for such people?
3, I registered my wife’s profile and resume on Ziprecruiter of recent. She has got like 5 interview dates from different companies but it has to be a face to face interview. Well, she is here in Nigeria, we even mailed for a leverage of phone or online interview but no response. So, how do one get employed from outside Canada or get a job before you land there as expressed in your system? Pls, attend to this issues Randy thanks.

they have both written the Canadian here in South Africa. they are in the pool, but it is not good enough.

This is very very sad because they really wanted to immigrate there.

    Thanks for your wonderful question.
Applying for the TFWP occurs after registering for the immigration process and building your immigration profile. In step two you should enter yourself into the Canadian government’s job pool. Once you are in the job pool, you will be able to search the job boards.

Reply

    Hi Curthley,

The fact that you are 50 years old should not be a problem. The Temporary Workers Program is a great way to gain physical presence in Canada if you wish to someday apply for citizenship. You first need to start your immigration process and then you will be entered into a job pool where you will be registered to receive job offers and also look for jobs posted on the online job board. Once you are chosen for a position it will take two weeks to receive your visa.

    Hi Thakshala,

If you are really serious about moving to Canada, then you can apply for jobs through various immigration programs. Your chance of moving to Canada goes up 100% when you are offered a job.

It’s onerous to search out educated people on this matter, however you sound like you understand what you’re talking about! Thanks

Hi, my boyfriend is Canadian and he lives in Canada so I want to move there. How can I be sure that this isn’t a scam to just get money from people? If it’s not I’m willing to pay

    Hi!
Thank you for the question. This is not a scam.
While we are not able to guarantee approval (no one can offer you that), I can promise you that we dork our hardest for our clients, we have the expertise, the accomplished and dedicated staff and the products to get you as far as possible in your immigration process.
I hope that helped with your decision, and I wish you lots of luck with your process.
